Energy Friday is back!

Last week went very well WORLD WIDE!

Laure and I were amazed at all the comments at the gym, on the street, via email and here :)

So, let’s do it again!

Let’s keep this thing rolling my friends.

Friday, February 27th I am going to do the following and Laure’s exercise follows:

25 single leg squats – each leg followed by 30 push ups (I know..wimping out!) every hour from 7 am – 4 pm.

Laure – she is going to do more push ups, but is GUARANTEEING a huge increase from last week. This week she will pace herself. She is pretty scary serious about this..lol

We will take pics from the bowling lane this week. (every Friday we go bowling then have lunch) it’s our ‘date day’ :) )

This idea popped into my head as I was working out tonight:

ENERGY FRIDAY!

After being around the block a few years now I know for a fact that we rarely give time to ourselves when it comes to exercise. We come up with some lame excuse:

Too tired – Don’t feel well – Back hurts…bla bla bla

STOP!

Think of all the people in this world that really CANNOT exercise due to an illnesss or serious injury that leaves them without the abilities many of us have.

So…

Instead of using YOU as an excuse NOT to workout, use someone you know as an excuse TO workout!

I know you have a friend or relative that needs some good health or energy sent their way…

Energy Makes Energy just as negative vibes send negative vibes..

Great time had by all at the PVCA Convention in State College!

Laure and I are back after an awesome time in State College, Pa presenting ‘Volleyball Training to the MAX’ to coaches of all levels. Club, High School and College coaches were in attendance, asking questions and were very open to our style of training to drastically improve the overall athletic ability of their athletes.

We actually wanted to stop at Penn’s Cave on the way home, but for some reason we couln’t find it ;)

Tomorrow is he big day! Two of our members who are getting married are having their wedding pictures taken…

Starbucks Coffee and our competition

Have you heard?

Consumer Reports tested 19 ground coffees and reported that pricey Starbucks Coffee Colombia medium didn’t even place among the top regular coffees!

How can that be?

It is so expensive it HAS to be better..it HAS to be..

NOT!

My personal experience with Starbucks is that it always tastes ‘burnt’ and it is wayyyyy too strong. The other funny experience that I always find is how high one’s nose goes in the air when they enter and leave a Starbucks! LOL..Not everyone, cause I know you may go there ( :) ), but come on, admit it…isn’t it funny how some people get this ego about them when they purchase the expensive coffee at Starbucks? The chest comes out, the nose goes up and the ‘look at me’ appearance takes over….LOL..I think it is hilarious, especially since it is crappy coffee! (IMO) :)
