Please read the entire post. This is for EVERYONE
This idea popped into my head as I was working out tonight:
ENERGY FRIDAY!
After being around the block a few years now I know for a fact that we rarely give time to ourselves when it comes to exercise. We come up with some lame excuse:
Too tired – Don’t feel well – Back hurts…bla bla bla
STOP!
Think of all the people in this world that really CANNOT exercise due to an illnesss or serious injury that leaves them without the abilities many of us have.
So…
Instead of using YOU as an excuse NOT to workout, use someone you know as an excuse TO workout!
I know you have a friend or relative that needs some good health or energy sent their way…
Energy Makes Energy just as negative vibes send negative vibes..
Tomorrow, together we can ALL send energy!

How?
Ha! I knew you would ask..
Friday, February 20, 2009 from 7 am to 4 pm I am going to do 75 push ups EVERY HOUR!
I am going to use my positive energy to send my best friend Zach (many of you know him) a ton of positive energy.
What are you going to do?
NO EXCUSES!
If you come up with an excuse you are taking away from sending positive energy to someone you know and love that is unable to do some of the same activities that we all take for granted.
No worries…I can help you come up with something to do no matter what you are doing tomorrow ![]()
(use good judgement with what you are capable of doing)
In school: Squeeze your belly (core) and hold for 20-30 seconds / relax / do again 3-5 times – EVERY HOUR!
At work: Get up and stand on one leg for 30-45 seconds each leg – alternate legs and perform 3 times each. You can also add alternating bicep curls. EVERY HOUR!
On the road: Do a single bicep curl (squeeze your bicep!) for 30 repetitions at the same time you are squeezing your belly. Swich arms. Repeat 3- 3 times..EVERY HOUR!
Other ideas..Walk a flight of steps 2-5 times, begin to sit down in a chair but STOP right before you are ready to touch and return back to your standing position 8-25 times, push ups, planks, pump your arms to the ceiling, standing bicep curls..SOMETHING EVERY HOUR!
If you want to feel good about yourself and see how little it takes to be active throughout your day then do something.
You will feel very proud of YOU when the day ends.
